Add the ghee, Cook the Pattie, dont not touch for 3 minutes.
4. Sauté the mushrooms and spinach until wilted on the other side around 3 minutes.
5. Turn over Pattie and repeat ^ 3 Minutes do not touch or fiddle! Otherwise will not create a crust and will stick and break!
6.
Slice an avocado 🥑
7.
Turn heat off and place a spinach a spinach leaf like a wrap or use collard green or lettuce wrap, whatever is at your disposal!

Season to taste, Tuck in and enjoy!

I used to bloody love an Instagram fitness challenge. For a very vivid period of my life, nothing would quite excite me like a good old squat challenge infographic with a diagram of someone’s arse.⁠⠀

Those were the days I’d make a mental note for the week - identifying all the beige and circular foods I was going to cut out my diet STARTING TOMORROW.⁠ Biscuits, burgers, bagels, bread. Basically anything beige.⁠⠀

All under the guise of #health, of course.⁠⠀
I felt good, I felt virtuous.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
However my efforts had a solid 0% success rating. Why? Because I liked biscuits. And burgers. And bagels. And bread.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
Ironically, attempting to cut them out my life actually increased the amount of mental energy I spent thinking about them by about 300%. Funny that.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
And no. Don’t panic.⁠⠀
This isn’t going to be post telling you to JuSt eAt WHaT yOu WanT.⁠⠀
Because a diet consisting of *only* those foods probably ain’t going to make you happy, healthy human. And it’s okay to have goals.⁠⠀

But ! ! !⁠⠀
⁠⠀
The thing I always seemed to forget was that eating a balanced diet requires me to make room for *all* foods I enjoy. Nutritious things and less so.⁠⠀
Trying to do anything but that was just stalling time - valuable time which I could have spent teaching myself moderation. And how to stop demonising round, doughy foods beginning B.⁠⠀

Or having a meltdown in the presence of Sandra’s bloody party tray bake 5 days in. God love her.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
A 4 week challenge to eat more vegetables, drink more water and do more steps isn’t as sexy nor would it warrant BIG RED CROSSES or a clipart of a sixpack but I’d argue it’d be 4 weeks better spent.⁠⠀

Raw, vegan and gluten free 😍. Crunchy base, salty caramel middle and a sweet white chocolate top - H E A V E N
🌟Almond ‘Biscuit’ Layer
2 cups Ground Almonds
1 cup Pecans
3 tbs Fruit Syrup
3 tbs Coconut Oil
1 tbs Almond Butter
2 tbsp vanilla vegan protein powder 
Pinch Himalayan Salt
🌟Salted Date Caramel Layer
2 cups Pitted Pre-Soaked Dates
2 tbsp Coconut Oil
1 cup Almond Milk
1 tsp Salted Caramel Extract
1/4 tsp Himalayan Salt
🌟‘Chocolate’ Coating
100g Dairy Free White Chocolate
2 tbsp coconut oil
1 tbsp vanilla vegan protein powder
Method
Blend all of the ingredients for the base in a food processor. Press into the base of silicone cupcake moulds.
Blend all of the ingredients for the caramel layer in a food processor. Pour on top of the base layer.
Melt the chocolate and coconut oil. Slowly stir in the protein powder until smooth. Pour on top of the caramel layer.

🤯For so long, I focused on the wrong thing. I wasn’t tuned into my diet, I was doing boatloads of cardio, not lifting weights, drinking skinny teas & taking fat burners. If it said “lose weight fast”, I probably tried it!⠀

🖐🏼Fast forward five years... and lots of mistakes later, I created this little pyramid for you guys so you know what to focus on when you are trying to tone up and lose fat.⠀

⚠️Here’s the golden pyramid of fat loss for you guys! ⠀

1️⃣Calorie Deficit: Eating less calories than your body needs is the only way to lose fat!⠀
⠀
2️⃣Eat Enough Protein: to maintain muscle mass, to recover from workouts, to keep you full & satiated when you’re dieting & so you get toned aka you don’t turn “skinny fat”⠀

3️⃣Lift Weights: 2-5x a week! (usually 3-4 is a sweet spot for most people) don’t be afraid to go heavy, it WON’T make you bulky unless you eat too many calories⠀

4️⃣Sleep: 7-9 hours a night to recover, rest and keep your hunger levels in check. when you don’t sleep enough, your body will be hungrier. so get those Zzzs!⠀

5️⃣Cardio, Movement, and 10k steps/day. Finding active hobbies you enjoy will keep you consistent and make it a lot more fun.⠀
