I love my small meals throughout the day. I love to snack! If you love to snack like I do, make sure your small meals are keeping you satisfied. Tip you can do this by adding protein to every meal so you stay full longer.

Some of my go-to snacks are greek yogurt, cottage cheese, nuts, peanut butter on rice cakes, and beef jerky, and if I am on the go I love my RXbar or G2Gbar.

Feeling your neck when doing abdominal work?

Place a bender ball on the base of your shoulder blades/bra line and use that to assist you in curling up deeper. The fold(not crunch) of your chest over your rib cage is key to helping us tap into the upper abs.

Why do we need to properly engage the upper abs?

I often hear the need to work the lower abdominals but if we don’t strengthen the upper abs we cannot work our lower belly efficiently. The upper abdominal engagement will help you stabilize and turn on your deep core muscles which in turn will help you get into your low belly.

Strengthen all your abdominal muscles with this simple ab flow without the worry of getting into your neck. If you have a hard time with the full roll up you can place your feet under a strap or against a wall for assistance.

Do 12 reps of each exercise while flowing from one to the other. The lesser you rest the more endurance you’ll build which will help you get stronger and tighten up that core😉💪🏼
