Bolo de cenoura 🥕🍫 maravilhosoooo 😋
Receita  @nutricionistaraphaelpolonis
Ingredientes:
-1 cenoura
-2 ovos
-70g farinha de aveia
-90g xilitol
-30g óleo de coco sem sabor
-1 colher de chá de fermento.

Para a cobertura:
-120g whey protein sabor chocolate (não adianta usar whey ruim hein?! Se não acaba com a receita rs)
-100ml de leite de amêndoas (pode substituir pelo leite de coco ou leite de vaca)

Bata no processador os ovos, cenoura, óleo de coco e o xilitol. Em um recipiente coloque a farinha de aveia e o fermento peneirados e acrescente a mistura líquida e mexa bem. Unte uma forma com a farinha de aveia e acrescente a mistura e asse em forno pré aquecido à 200 graus por aproximadamente 40 minutos. 
Para fazer o recheio e a cobertura, misture o whey com o leite e leve ao fogo baixo, mexendo até ficar com ficar com uma consistência mais firme. Desenforme o bolo e jogue a cobertura por cima

When most people train their lower body they neglect to work their calf's and thus they end up having out of proportion legs. But calf's are actually one of the easiest parts of the body to build up if you are consistent with your training and put the right amount of stress upon them during each workout. A great exercise to do to build good calf's is to do standing calf raises. You can do these at home or in the gym. If you are at home you could fill two water bottles up if you don't have weights and use them as weights to help give you some resistance. Yesterday, I worked on slowing down my eccentric phase of the rep. Meaning how quickly you bring back the weight you’ve lifted. Why? .
.
The muscle tissue is a lot stronger during this phase compared to the contraction phase. In order to tire the muscle out further and produce a higher fibre tissue damage this slow eccentric training is very helpful. It can help when you’re stuck at a plateau and can help with mass increase too. Your joint stability will also be challenged and trained. Obviously the weights go down quite a lot so don’t expect any PB’s while doing this! 💪

We’ve all read about antioxidants, but do you really know much about them? Here’s a primer.

What are antioxidants?

Compounds that protect DNA from mutation and break down, preventing arthritis, nerve disorder, heart disease and cancers. They fight pesticides, chemicals, artificial compounds in foods, chemicals in water, radiation, tobacco and air pollution.

Are all antioxidants the same? No. Hundreds, possibly thousands of substances can act as antioxidants. Well-known ones include vitamin C, vitamin E, beta-carotene and other carotenoids, selenium, zinc and manganese. Lesser known ones include glutathione, coenzyme Q10, lipoic acid, flavonoids, phenols, polyphenols and phytoestrogens.

They can be found in fruits, vegetables, grains and herbs. But artificial antioxidants can be used as food supplements or to preserve and improve the shelf life of food. Studies on artificial antioxidants show they don’t have any major benefits.

What to eat

For beta-carotene and other carotenoids: Apricots, asparagus, beetroot, broccoli, melons, carrots, corn, capsicum, mangoes, turnips and leafy vegetables, peaches, pink grapefruit, pumpkin, sweet potato, tomatoes and papaya.

For vitamin C: Berries, broccoli, cauliflower, grapefruit, kiwi, mango, orange, papaya, snow peas, sweet potato, strawberries, tomatoes, bell peppers and amla.

For vitamin E: Broccoli, carrots, mustard and turnip greens, mangoes, nuts, papaya, pumpkin, red peppers, spinach, sunflower seeds and flaxseeds.

Zinc: Oysters, meat, beans, nuts, seafood, whole grains and organic dairy products.

Selenium: Tuna, poultry and grain products.

Eat these foods raw or lightly steamed. And eat them in their natural form to extract the maximum benefits.
