Caffeine - you should probably have your last caffeinated beverage before 4 pm to improve sleep latency. Don't forget that a lot of teas also contain caffeine

W ciągu ostatnich trzech lat udało mi się przywrócić względną równowagę w moim życiu. Wyregulowałam większość kwestii zdrowotnych, mam odpowiednio dobrane leki i suplementację. بيماری ريتم سيركادين نوعی بيماری مزمن در زمان خواب است. بيماران مبتلا به سندرم فاز خواب تأخيری به طور معمول با شروع تأخيری خواب در شب و مشكل در بيدارشدن از خواب
صبحگاهی مشخص مي شوند.
شكايت اصلی اين بيماران بيخوابی تا صبح است، مگر آنكه بيماري های همراه ديگری مانند آپنه خواب داشته باشند كه در اين صورت خواب طبيعی خواهند داشت و بعد از درمان بيماری همراه خواب، سندرم فاز خواب تأخيری خود را نمايان مي سازند. در بسياری از بيماران زمان خواب بين 4 صبح تا ظهر است. اين افراد به طور خود به خودی از خواب بيدار مي شوند و در طول روز، خواب آلودگی بيش از حد ندارند.

While there can be many factors that can influence baby sleep (as you will know) its been my experience that using essential oils has a big impact on the length and quality of sleep (I also know this to be true for myself as well). Topical (applied to the body) and aromatic use (in the diffuser) I think is the perfect recipe.

Believe it or not my son started sleeping through when I first started applying Frankincense and Lavender to the soles of his feet. A fluke maybe?! We missed two nights that week and he woke up!

Essential oils always go in the diffuser 30 mins before bedtime to create a relaxing and calming sleep environment. This is also good if you’re up feeding in the night for resettling post feed.

While there are lots of great diffuser blends for baby sleep, I really don’t think you can go past Lavender, whether on it’s own or with other oils. It’s simple and really effective.

Here are some of my favourite diffuser blends for young babies:
🍃Lavender + Cedarwood + Frankincense
🍃Lavender + Easy Air
🍃Lavender Peace + Copaiba
🍃Lavender Peace + Vetiver and Cedarwood
🍃Lavender + Frankincense

For topical application I think Frankincense and Lavender work really well and they are also two of the most gentle oil options. You can apply these diluted just to the soles of the feet.

These are also really good options for adults too but if you have a mind that struggles to switch off or if you have busy toddlers I like to use grounding as well as calming oils.
